Flux

The moment when a piece of clothing is put on or taken off. For a moment, the body is neither one thing nor the other. This moment interests me. Not the result. But the transition.I photograph bodies in this state: clothing that moves, fabric that falls or flies, bodies between visibility and anonymity. Sometimes I use masks or blindfolds—not as a fetish, but as a means of anonymity. The body becomes a form, not a person.
